Monty's diving career began in 2001 when he was trained as a deep sea / commercial diver in Seattle, Washington.  As a developer of the sidemount courses he teaches, he sets standards at an incredibly high rate.  Here at the tec center we train our divers hard but never disregarding safety. Having a record breaking open circuit dive in Roatan at 423ft/128mts. With 1300 certifications and nearly 1000 successful decompression dives, Monty will push you to your breaking point and make you a better diver for the rest of your dive career.

 


 

Henry Castellanos
Technical Rebreather Trimix Instructor for DiveTalk Academy, IANTD & TDI

Henry Castellanos is a highly experienced technical diver whose journey into the underwater world began in 2015 at the world’s largest aquarium located in Dubai U.A.E. In 2022, Henry’s interest in advanced diving took a decisive turn during a dive on a WWII wreck in Honolulu, Hawaii. Today, He is certified on six different rebreather systems, Technical Trimix Instructor for DiveTalk Academy, IANTD & TDI and has conducted dives exceeding 400 feet in depth, uncovering some of the most remarkable underwater sites on Earth. Henry brings a unique level of discipline and precision to diving, drawn from his career as a full-time commercial pilot, instructor, and test pilot. With over two decades of teaching experience and ratings on 15 different aircraft, he currently serves as a B777BBJ and B737BBJ Captain.


Adam Trisk
SSI / TDI Technical Trimix Instructor

Adam was originally NAUI trained by Bill Tewes in 1985 at 11 years old and did most of his early diving with the legendary Bert Kilbride in Virgin Gorda. Adam retired from a career in advertising, marketing, tech and innovation in 2020 and began pursuing professional and technical diving qualifications in Roatan where he trained with Monty Graham and Roatan Tec Center. Adam has dived around the world and today holds recreational, speciality, technical and professional certifications with NAUI, PADI, SDI, TDI and SSI as well as a CCR certification on the Fathom Gemini from IANTD. Adam’s passion lies in teaching Tec and dozens of speciality courses including cavern as well offering private guide services to recreation and technical divers.

Maurtius Valente Bell

Technical Instructor Trainer Open & Closed Circuit. UTD Foundational Instructor

Mauritius is a technical instructor trainer teaching open- and closed-circuit technical diving to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet) and beyond; he is also a cave instructor. He started technical diving in 2001 and became a technical instructor in 2006. Mauritius has been diving on closed-circuit rebreathers (CCR) since 2010 and teaching CCRs since 2015. He teaches both diver (all levels) and service technician programs for the Hollis Prism 2 rebreather. He has served as the logistics, safety, and deep-diving lead for more than 30 mixed-gas scientific diving expeditions to more than 20 different international locations. Mauritius is the owner of Checklist Safety, LLC.
